The Schaghticoke Fire Department was established in 1867, formerly known as the Washington Hose Company in the Village of Harts Falls now known as the Village of Schaghticoke. We have a 150+ year history of service to the Village and Town of Schaghticoke, along with assistance to Rensselaer, Washington and Saratoga Counties. We currently serve the Village of Schaghticoke with a population of 600 Residents, business district, a School District, and Fairgrounds. The Fire Department is 100% Volunteer with a small but dedicated well trained group of individuals.
